Peacocks Shopping Mall

During 2002, TL Fire installed a new six loop addressable fire alarm system to the Peacocks Shopping Mall in Wokiing, Surrey. Since then the system has been expanded several times.

The main house system comprises a master fire control panel, repeater panel and graphic display with in excess of 1000 system detectors and devices. Additional areas within the complex, including the Ambassador Theatre, have several fire control panels and systems interfaced to the 24/7 security office.

TL Fire have also maintained the fire door controls, retail outlet interfaces, sprinkler flow control interfaces, and the voice alarm/public address system used across the mall and theatre.

Being a high quality retail environment means that all servicing/repair work must be carried out after the mall is closed to the public, with all work to be completed before opening.

Individual retail outlets were added to the services carried out on the site. These systems ranged in size and type from non addressable, single panel with five devices to larger addressable systems. All the systems are interfaced to the house system.

With our BS 5839 and 17th edition electrically certified engineers; we are able to provide a fully comprehensive package, extending to structural engineering requirements such as car parks and concrete facades through our sister company Concrete Repairs Ltd (CRL).
